O artista plástico D. Serra entra para o RankBrasil em 2006, por reproduzir em miniaturas importantes obras expressionistas de Vicent Van Gogh, entre eles, ‘La chaise et la pipe’ com tamanho original de 0,93 m x 0,73 m e ‘L´Église d´ Auvers’, de 0,94 m x 0,74 m.Com um trabalho minucioso em acrílico sobre tela, o recordista fez réplicas perfeitas, utilizando as medidas de 0,12 m x 0,09 m.
D.Serra também merece destaque pela reprodução de ‘La Chambre de Vincent à Arles’, com original de 0,72 m x 0,90 m e réplica de 0,15 m x 0,20 m, e ‘De Bondering’, com 0,38 m x 0,45 m e reprodução de 0,27 m x 0,37 m.Reinterpretando algumas telas do artista, D. Serra usa toda sua irreverência e criatividade nas obras do pintor holandês. As reproduções em miniaturas integram o acervo do artista.
Natural de Pedreiras – MA e residente no Rio de Janeiro, o artista é mais do que um ´multimídia´, em se tratando de artes no país.Foi na juventude que ele revelou seus primeiros traços de artista. Aos nove anos de idade, escreveu o seu primeiro poema em homenagem ao Dia da Árvore. Aos 13, interpretou o papel principal da peça ´Simbita e o dragão´, no Teatro Arthur Azevedo.
Dos 14 aos 17, viajou pelo estado com os familiares, devido às constantes transferências do pai, funcionário do Tesouro Nacional. Ainda aos 17 anos, o artista publicou seu primeiro livro de poesias com produção independente, intitulado ´Muralha de Vidro´.Aos 18 anos, aventurou-se com as tintas e assim nasceu o pintor autodidata. Sua pintura amadureceu. O recordista se aprimorou e o estilo se firmou. D. Serra lê vorazmente, questiona pesquisa e frequenta rodas de intelectuais e artistas.
Ele foi integrante de um grupo formado por escultores, pintores, teatrólogos, jornalistas e escritores. O grupo realizou a primeira exposição em praça pública do Brasil, na cidade de Ribeirão Preto - SP, que contou com um grande número de artistas em vários gêneros e segmentos de arte.
Atualmente faz teatro, escreve, dirige e patrocina companhias teatrais por todo território nacional.
Com seu teatro semi-mecanizado de títeres, apresenta peças infantis em escolas públicas e particulares, peças clássicas e infantis. Na finalização de cada temporada, leva seu teatro para a periferia das cidades e apresenta gratuitamente para toda a população carente.Seus trabalhos se encontram em vários museus brasileiros e em alguns países. Participou de produções em TV e Cinema, dirigiu, escreveu e ganhou prêmios. Vivências: hippie, andarilho, palestrante, revolucionário, bancário, vendedor, articulista, crítico de cinema e executivo de multinacional. D. Serra é um ícone fundamental para cultura brasileira.

Plastic artist D. Serra, takes part of the Rank Brasil (a Brazilian record´s Ranking) by reproducing important expressionist´s miniatures. Repaintingsome screens of Vincent Van Gogh, D. Serra uses all its irreverence and creativity in the Dutch painter´s works of art.But the ability to make reproductions in miniatures is just one feature of the artist. He´s Natural of Pedreiras, a small city located in the Maranhão state, in the north of the country and nowadays he´s resident in the Rio de Janeiro state, thousands of miles far from that place where he´s born.
By this fact we can consider that the artist is very flexible and plural when treating to arts in the country.He was in the youth when He disclosed He´s initial traces as an artist.When he´s nine years He wrote He´s first poem in homage to the Day of The Tree. By the 13th he interpreted acts in the part "Simbita and the dragon" in the main paper. By the 14th year to the 17th, he´s been traveling around the state with the familiar ones, it happened in fact of the constant transferences of his father, employee of the National Treasure.
By the 18th year He started his adventure with inks and was born the self-taught painter. Its painting had ripened, He´s style had improved and he had firmed as an artist.He reads voraciously and takes part in several groups of intellectuals and artists. D.Serra was an integrant of groups formed by sculptors, painters, journalists and writers. They promote and carry through the first exposition in public square of Brazil.
They made that in the Ribeirão Preto city, located in the Brazilian São Paulo state. After that act that initiative turned to be common to great number of artists in some sorts and segments of art. During his life He worked writing, directing, illuminating and also managing theater companies for all domestic territory.With a half-mechanized theater of puppets, He presents infantile partsto some public and particular schools.During the finishing of each season He took He´s theater group to the periphery of the cities to gratuitously present classic and infantile parts for the poor population.When He´s 17 years the artist published its first book of poetries, as an independent production, entitled "Wall of Glass".
Its paintings can be found in some Brazilian Museums and in some different Countries.
As an artist He also worked in TV and Cinema, directing, writing and gaining some prizes.
Experiences: hippie, hitch hiker, walker, speaker, revolutionary, seller, clerk, contributor, critic of cinema and executive of a multinational company.
